SWAGING DIES
SwageCo makes dies for any wire rope swaging machine (e.g. Promec®, ESCO®, Wirop®, Talurit®, Nicopress®, Loose/Multipress®, FENN® GBG®/Continental Cable®, American Standard®, etc.) at less than OEM prices.
Process
Our dies are made from hardened tool steel specifically made for this application. The steel is heat treated to withstand the repeated use on aluminum, copper, steel, and stainless fittings. To ensure a faster turn around time for our customers, we stock a large selection of standard hardened die blanks for many machines. This allows us to ship these dies in about a week. Faster service can be available for emergency situations for an additional cost.
If you are in need of custom sizes, turn around time will be longer as we will need to order the die blanks and then send them for heat treat before we can machine them.
Dies can be made for any standard mill spec as well as non mil spec applications and we specialize in making custom dies. We pride ourselves in working with our customers to get them exactly what they want. Send us samples if you don’t know what you need and we will figure it out.
As a special service, we can also re-machine your worn SwageCo dies into a larger size cavity to get you more from your investment.
